PENAYANGAN SIARAN FIFA WORLD CUP BRAZIL 2014 MELALUI SALURAN TV BROADCASTING DI RUANGAN HOTEL SEBAGAI PERBUATAN MELAWAN HUKUM HAK CIPTA (Analisa Terhadap Putusan No. 6/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2018/PN.smg Jo. Putusan No. 1182 K/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2018)

The author conducted a study on the Case of 2014 Brazil Fifa World Cup Copyright Infringement Between PT. INTERSPORT MARKETING with PT. GRIYA ASRI HIDUP ABADI. In that case the Plaintiff (PT. INTERSPORT MARKETING) sued PT. GRIYA ASRI HIDUP ABADI for conducting the 2014 Brazil Fifa World Cup Broadcast in the hotel room as a Law Against Copyright Infringement. The Commercial Court in this case stated that the Defendant's act was a Law Against Copyright Infringement, but in the cassation level the Supreme Court Judge had a different opinion stating that the Defendant's Actions were not Acts against the Law. The author intends to conduct research in the form of analysis of decisions in resolving cases of differences of opinion in deciding cases between Commercial Court Judges in Decision Number 6 / Pdt.Sus-HKI /2018/PN.Smg with Supreme Court Judges on Decision Number 1182 K / Pdt. Sus-HKI / 2018 regarding the 2014 Brazil Fifa World Cup Broadcast as a Law Against Copyright Infringement. This research method uses a normative juridical approach, where the data collection techniques are in the form of laws, books, internet, journals, and articles that support this research. Then, the data from the results of this study were analyzed using the decision analysis method Number 6 / Pdt.Sus-HKI /2018/PN.Smg and Decision Number 1182 K / Pdt.Sus-HKI / 2018. According to the author's research based on legal judgments from the Commercial Court and Supreme Court a quo judges, in conclusion, in general the Commercial Court is right in declaring the 2014 Brazil Fifa World Cup Broadcast in a hotel room or commercial area as a Law Against Copyright Infringement, and a statement from the Supreme Court Judge stating that the Defendant's Action Is Not an Act Against the Law of Copyright Infringement will cause a new legal problem
