ANALISIS NILAI-NILAI KARAKTER DALAM KEGIATAN INTERAKSI SOSIAL PESERTA DIDIK KELAS V SD MUHAMMADIYAH 5 MALANG

Human are social beings, which means, they always with other humans and make relations with other humans. This activity is called social interaction. Someone can easly to accepted into his/her social life if he/she has good character. Therefore, it is important to apply character value saince early stage. It can be habit that will be brought in future. Character value taught in school with character education. And the goverment also make strengthening of caracter education program (PPK). Teaching charater values have expectation for studen ts to be next generations with good characters. The purposes of this research are to describe: (1) shape of social interaction from 5th class student in Muhammadiyah 5 Elementary School Malang, (2) character values in social interaction of 5th class student in Muhammadiyah 5 Malang Elementary School Malang. This research used descriptive and qualitative approach. The research’s techniques used observation, interview and documentation. Data obtain from 5th class students, teacher from 5th class students, and headmater of Muhammadiyah 5 Elementary School Malang. The results of this research are: (1) the shapes of social interaction from 5th class student are cooperation, assimilation, competition, dispute or conflict, and accommodation, (2) character values in social interaction of 5th class student are; (a) the character values of religious, nationalist, mutual cooperation and integrity in the shape of cooperative social interaction. But there are also social interaction cooperation activities that are in contrast to the values of independent character and integrity, (b) the character values of religious, nationalist and mutual cooperation in the shape of assimilation social interactions, (c) the character values of independent character in the shape of competitive social interaction. But there are also social interaction competitive activities that are in contrast to the values of nationalist character and integrity, (d) in the shape of dispute or conflict social interaction, no visible character values, but it is contrast to the values of religious, nationalism and integrity, (e) and the character values of mutual cooperation, nationalism and independent in the shape of social interaction of accommodation
