Studying Paul Tillich\u27s theology is hardly a unique occupation. This year dozens of students and teachers are analyzing Tillich\u27s method, language, ontology, and so forth. If the past is any guide, however, virtually no one will consider his ethical theory. This is not surprising. Tillich\u27s moral categories are not systemically organized, so such a project demands a great deal of synthesis.
