Background and Objectives: Pain is a prevalent symptom in the universe of the child who experiences childhood cancer, being responsible for a series of limitations and suffering in this population. The objective of the study was to know the profile of the oncological child and the performance of the nursing team in the clinical evaluation and pain management. Method: Descriptive exploratory study of a quantitative-qualitative approach carried out in a pediatric referral hospital in Florianópolis from April to November 2018.
