In the rice processing industry, the rice husk is used as an energy source, producing ash after burning. This ash is usually disposed of incorrectly, which harms the environment. This research aimed at the use of this RHA in the partial substitution of Portland cement in the production of mortar. Samples with 10%, 20% and 30% of RHA contents that were submitted to the drying and milling process were produced without the addition of RHA, and others with 10%, 20% and 30%, produced with RHA in crude form, partially replacing Portland cement in the manufacture of mortar.
