The value of the cause: obligatory, objective criteria and judicial control

This article is an analysis about the Institute of the Value of Cause with emphasis on the repercussions of the validity of the new Code of Civil Procedure. The main objective of the research is to find the best ways to make the decision-making process of 2015, compared to the Buzaid code, which is the ranking of the courts and the Superior Court of Justice about the objectives of establishing and implementing this institute, as well as the control methods for defining these criteria. The divergence to be solved in this study is to point out some procedural barriers encountered and the true correlation between the economic profit pursued by the demand and the institute of the value of the cause.O presente artigo compreende uma análise sobre o instituto do valor da causa com foco nas alterações trazidas a partir da vigência do novo Código de Processo Civil. O objetivo principal desta pesquisa cinge-se em buscar compreender quais foram as inovações mais significativas sobre o instituto do valor da causa compreendidas pelo Código de Processo Civil de 2015 em comparação com o antigo Código Buzaid, verificar quais os posicionamentos dos tribunais e do Superior Tribunal de Justiça acerca dos critérios objetivos de fixação e aplicação deste instituto, bem como quais os métodos de controle para a definição desses critérios. A celeuma a ser dirimida nesse estudo consiste em evidenciar algumas barreiras processuais encontradas e a verdadeira correlação entre o proveito econômico perseguido pela demanda e o instituto do valor da causa
