ABSTRACT: Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is an innovative technique that has been studied in several areas of medicine, presenting significant results. Objective: The present study aimed to analyze the therapeutic uses of PRP, through a literature review, of a qualitative nature, evaluating the results of scientific articles. Method: We evaluated 38 scientific articles that dealt with the use of platelet - rich plasma in several areas of medicine. Data analysis: The data analysis was developed in a descriptive way according to the relevant information found in the scientific papers selected for the study.
