A retrospective comparative study of the performance of fourth-degree readings in relation to the number of live, dead and mummified piglets in the period 2017-2018

In swine breeding, fourth-site gilts are acquired already pregnant with an average of 40 days of gestation. These animals are being used to supply the production system needs, maintaining the zootechnical indexes, expressed by the number of live, dead and mummified piglets. These indices can be analyzed by the number of weaned piglets/gilts/year, which show that how much more born piglets, more profitability. Besides that, they also demonstrate how these animals went through a process of genetic selection to generate better descents. Sendo que esses animais estão sendo usados atualmente, para suprir as necessidades dentro do sistema de produção, mantendo os índices zootécnicos. E esses índices podem ser analisados pelo número de leitões desmamados\porca\ano, onde quando há maior nascimento de leitões resulta em maior lucratividade.
