PURPOSE: to investigate the effects of yoga practice on quality of life, pelvic loin pain and expectation regarding the delivery of pregnant women. METHOD: experimental type research performed with the application of a 12-week yoga program. Sample with 14 pregnant women randomized into two groups: Control Group (GC) (n = 7) and Yoga Group (GY) (n = 7). The instruments for data collection were the SF-36 quality of life questionnaire, the pain scale (EVA), and an open question about the expectation regarding delivery.
