This research had as general objective to understand the reasons that cause the automatism in the aircraft to be responsible for the occurrence of accidents and aeronautical incidents, often leading to fatalities. It is an exploratory, bibliographical and documentary research through books, articles, reports, regulations and laws. The approach was qualitative and quantitative. The analysis of the information and data was done through graphs, tables and figures according to the theoretical basis. Through the studies and results obtained, it is concluded that the unawareness of automatic systems integrated in airplanes and mainly the conditions of the interaction between the human operator and the machine, accidents and incidents can occur. ...
