This work investigates the potentialities of a methodological alternative for the formal education of chemistry. Considering that, because it is considered by the learning subjects, a discipline with very abstract contents, making it difficult to apply concepts, it is necessary to investigate new teaching techniques that overcome these obstacles. This work presented the use of mobile devices, specifically, educational mobile applications, as a methodology to be developed in the classroom, since the target audience is young and increasingly globalized and updated.
