Abstract: Localized adiposity is characterized by the excess of adipocytes found in a disorderly way in regions of the body. Among the aesthetic resources used to attenuate and treat this alteration, radiofrequency (RF) stands out. The RF when applied on adipose tissue produces a stimulation of fat catabolism, favorable in body aesthetic treatments. Objective: To analyze the therapeutic effects of RF on adiposity located in the abdomen. Methodology: Exploratory, pre-experimental, qualitative-quantitative and longitudinal research. Participated 7 women, 20 to 29 years old, were evaluated by anamnesis form, photographic record and satisfaction questionnaire.
