The first objective of this work is to explain the relevance of the Wittgenstein’s theory of language games to the area of Language Sciences. In Philosophical Investigations, the author proposes the thesis of a Language Games, which can be understood as a therapeutic solution to problems not only philosophical, but in several areas of human knowledge. Then it analisises two central concepts to Wittgenstein’s philosophy: Rule and Use. The last part is dedicated to the pragmatist philosophy of Charles Peirce, Donald Davidson and Richard Rorty.
