Os jogos de linguagem e a filosofia terapêutica de Wittgenstein

The first objective of this work is to explain the relevance of the Wittgenstein’s theory of language games to the area of Language Sciences. In Philosophical Investigations, the author proposes the thesis of a Language Games, which can be understood as a therapeutic solution to problems not only philosophical, but in several areas of human knowledge. Then it analisises two central concepts to Wittgenstein’s philosophy: Rule and Use. The last part is dedicated to the pragmatist philosophy of Charles Peirce, Donald Davidson and Richard Rorty. To understand the form of the language used in different contexts such as games, means understand a field where individuals can interact with each other through dialogues that respect the same rules for the use of wordsO objetivo primeiro deste trabalho é expor a relevância da tese dos jogos de linguagem de Wittgenstein para a área das ciências da linguagem. Na obra Investigações Filosóficas, o autor formula tal tese, podendo ser entendida como uma solução terapêutica para problemas não apenas filosóficos, mas de várias área do conhecimento humano. Em seguida analisaremos dois conceitos centrais para a filosofia de Wittgenstein: Regra e Uso. A última parte do trabalho é dedicada à filosofia pragmatista de Charles Peirce, Donald Davidson e Richard Rorty.
