This paper talks about the main consequences of the Iranian Revolution to the actions of North America in the Middle East in the period from 1979 to 1990. It presents a description of concepts related to the Middle East and the West, like Imperialism, Hegemony and Revolution. It covers the history of the Middle East, more specifically of Iran, as well as the conditions and the process of the Iranian Revolution. On such a scenario, the main actions of the United States in the region and its interference between 1979 and 1990 were investigated.Este trabalho de conclusão de curso aborda as principais consequências da Revolução Iraniana para as ações Norte Americanas no Oriente Médio no período de 1979 a 1990. Apresenta descrição de conceitos relacionados ao Oriente Médio e Ocidente, como Imperialismo, Hegemonia e Revolução. Resgata a história do Oriente Médio, especificamente do Irã, bem como as condições e o processo de Revolução Iraniana. Diante de tal cenário, apurou as principais ações dos Estados Unidos para a região e sua interferência entre 1979 a 1990
