The mobilization of the brazilian army and the sending of troops to the fronts of the 2nd world war

The objective of the present study is to show how the mobilization and the sending of the FEB to the European front was. To achieve this goal, I acquired books of military and civilian authors who portrayed the subject with mastery and wisdom. After collecting data, I first reported on why Brazil entered the conflict, demonstrating the attacks on merchant ships and US pressure, and exposed the Brazilian conditions at that time, with the Estado Novo dictatorship and the economic crisis . I cited US aid, recruitment methods, outstanding civilian and military personalities, acceptance of the population, social assistance, and, finally, division and dispatch of troops by American ships. The Brazilian Expeditionary Force was a source of pride for all Brazilians because it was the only Latin American troop participating in World War II. I concluded by stating that the subject is little studied and that those who have an interest in knowing about the FEB and the Brazilian participation in the War may be interested in this reading.O objetivo do presente estudo é mostrar como foi a mobilização e o envio da FEB para o front europeu. Para atingir esse objetivo, adquiri livros de autores militares e civis que retrataram o assunto com maestria e sabedoria. Após as coletas de dados, primeiramente, relatei o porquê de o Brasil ter entrado no conflito, demonstrando os ataques aos navios mercantes e a pressão norte-americana, e expus as condições brasileiras naquele momento, com a ditadura do Estado Novo e a crise econômica. Citei a ajuda dos EUA, os métodos de recrutamento, as personalidades civis e militares que se destacaram, a aceitação da população, a assistência social e, por último, a divisão e o envio da tropa pelos navios americanos. A Força Expedicionária Brasileira foi motivo de orgulho para todos os brasileiros por ser a única tropa latino-americana a participar da Segunda Guerra Mundial. Concluí afirmando que o assunto é pouco estudado e que aqueles que têm interesse em saber sobre a FEB e a participação brasileira na Guerra podem se interessar por esta leitura
