Abstract writing prompt

This is the writing prompt for the first writing assignment in VIBS 310. Students are given three published journal articles that don't have abstracts. Their task is to choose one of the articles and to write an abstract for it. The assignment happens in three parts. Students first turn in a rough draft, which is reviewed by their teaching assistant. Next, each student provides feedback on three of their peers' abstracts. Finally, students use the feedback from their teaching assistant and peers to revise a final draft, which is turned in to be graded by the instructor
