This file contains 100 3D Body Scans from a White-British and Chinese population, aged 20-30 for you to use and explore in your research. 3D Body Scanning is a technology that allows the capture and analysis of the human body using non-contact methods, current uses have allowed large datasets to be captured and comparisons made with population groups. As part of ongoing projects at the University of Manchester the Apparel Design Engineering (ADE) team have selected 100 scans and processed them using a Size Stream body scanner, we are making the measurements of these 100 scans accessible to anyone wishing to explore body measurements and sizing systems.
