This database consists of a series of maps showing the estimated inundation of Hawaii shorelines caused by estimated sea-level rise (SLR) at the year 2100. Individual maps show inundation across mile-long sections of Hawaii state routes on the islands of Hawaii, Maui, Molokai, Oahu and Kauai previously identified for their vulnerability to the effects of climate change as part of the Statewide Coastal Highways Project Report. Mileposts are identified by Brandes et al. (2019). State of Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) state routes and county street centerline datasets are acquired from HDOT (2017) and HOLIS, C&CH (2017).
