This database consists of a series of maps and plots showing elevations of combined topographic and nearshore bathymetric transects perpendicular to State of Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) routes in the Hawaiian Islands. Mileposts are identified by Brandes et al. (2019). HDOT state routes and county street centerline datasets are acquired from HDOT (2017) and HOLIS, C&CH (2017). Elevations along the transect are referenced to local mean sea level (LMSL) and are sampled from merged digital elevation models (DEM) of each island prepared by Francis et al. (2019).
