Recent rock a valanches in Oisans (French Alps). Linits and geographic data contribute to identify Oisans as an alpine high mountain region. Elementary rock-falls are more numerous in the high mountain where glaciers, permanent snow cover, pergelisol patches are now restricting. Detritic cover on glacier surfaces, debris talus and lines of huge blocks are described in vallée des Etançons. Debris slopes (cones, talus...) on the low slopes and debris tongues in the talwegs are produced by rock falls desintegrating in place : Rivier d'Allemont, 1985.
