Steel Load-bearing Structure of administrative building

The thesis deals with the design of the load-bearing structure of an office building in Olomouc. The ground plan dimensions of the hall are 36 × 36 m, the height of the main nave is 17 m (4 GF), side 10. 7 m (3 GF). The spatial beam structure is formed by symmetrical transverse frame links in one direction, in the other direction by horizontal hinged elements. The roof structure is made of truss girders pin-supported on pillars at the main nave, and a flat roof beside the nave. The pillars are placed on the joints and spatial rigidity of the structure provides system of space bracings. The main material is S275
