Diary of a Legionnaire Vojtěch Holan from the year 1920

The aim of the bachelor thesis "Diary of a Legionnaire Vojtěch Holan from the year 1920" is to bring out a critical edition and carry out an analysis of the diary. The main topic of the source is Siberian anabasis and legionnaires' journey to Czechoslovakia. The thesis is structured in three chapters. The first chapter deals with historical context from the beginning of World War I over the establishment of the Czechoslovak legions in Russia, Siberian anabasis to the position of legionnaires in Czechoslovakia after 1948. The second chapter is concentrated on Holan´s life. The last chapter is focused on outer and inner description of the source, also on records and reflexion of contents of his notes.
