Analisis Efisiensi Teknis Industri Mebel Di Kelurahan Banaran, Kecamatan Kalijambe Kabupaten Sragen

This study aims to measure, analyze and compare the technical efficiency of the furniture industry in Banaran village, Kalijambe sub-district, Sragen regency for one month in 2017. Calculation of the comparison of the technical efficiency of the furniture industry uses the non-parametric Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. The data used in this study uses primary data. The data in this study are divided into two variables, namely input variables and output variables. The input variable consists of the amount of initial capital, the amount of labor, the price of raw materials, and the length of business. While the output variable consists of the amount of production. The population in this study was a small furniture industry in the Banaran village, Kalijambe sub-district, Sragen district in September 2017 with a total of 42 business units. The data collection method used in this study is documentation. Based on the analysis using the non-parametric method (DEA), furniture companies that have been efficient, namely those with a value of 1 (one), are 10 (ten) companies and 20 furniture companies that are inefficient. The use of the initial capital production factor still needs to be done by adding capital inputs. The use of labor production factors still needs to be done to reduce labor input to be more efficient. As well as the use of raw material production factors, it is necessary to reduce input of raw materials to be more efficient
