The research aims to describe the mistakes and the factors by students resolving mathematic story question of sequence and series in terms of SOLO taxonomy’s levels. Type in this research was descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this research were 28 students of eleven grades in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta. The technique of data collecting used test, interview, and documentation. The data validity used triangulation of technique and sources. The data analysis tehnique in this research is done by processing of data reduction, data presentation, and verification / conclusion.
