Pengaruh Pemberian Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) Dan Hold Relax Stretching Pada Nyeri Otot Gastrocnemius Pengguna High Heel

The use of high heels is a demand for sales promotion girl jobs where they are also required to continue standing. This can cause tension in the calf muscles which can cause pain in the calves. Changes in flat shoes into high heels will make the heel change position for a long time so it keeps contracting the calf muscle continuously, and make the wearer's way of walking becomes uncomfortable, unbalanced, and awkward, and increases the risk of injury. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving hold relax stretching and Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) to reduce gastrocnemius muscle pain due to the use of high heels? This research method is Quasi Experiment because all variables are not controlled by researchers with the research design is one group pre and post test.. The sampling technique using purposive sampling will be adjusted to the inclusion and exclusion criteria 2 determined by the researcher. Respondents in this study were 16 people. Data obtained from the normality test are normally distributed because p> 0.05, the statistical test used for the influence test is paired-sample t-test with the test results in the treatment group p = 0,000. Based on these data it can be concluded that the transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation and hold relax stretching have an effect on reducing pain in the gastrocnemius muscle.
