Analisis Penerapan Lean Manufacturing dengan Menggunakan Metode Value Stream Mapping untuk Mengurangi Pemborosan pada Produksi Selimut (Studi Kasus: CV Kapas Putih, Polanharjo, Klaten)

CV Kapas Putih is one of the manufacturing companies engaged in blanket production in Klaten, Central Java. This study is intended to determine the waste that occurs in the process of producing blankets. In this company there is a possibility that occurs. To involve waste that occurs in the production process, it is necessary to consider the lean manufacturing concept by using the value stream mapping (VSM) method. The purpose of VSM is to discuss the flow of production together with the production process time. Obtained can be obtained categories of value-added, non-added, and non-value-added activities. Based on the results of mapping large images, the actual lead time of blanket production was obtained at 9552.6 minutes and the total number of activities was 71 activities. Then after the repair is updated, the waiting time is reduced to 8661,03 minutes and the overall amount is reduced to 58 activities.
