Purpose : The aim of the present study was to obtain raw quercetin materials using solid dispersion system with better solubility and dissolution rate than pure quercetin. Methods: The solid dispersion of Quercetin-HPMC was prepared by solvent method. Subsequently, the solid dispersion was tested for its solubility and in vitro dissolution. The physicochemical properties were characterized by powder X-ray diffractometer (PXRD), Differential Thermal Analyzer (DTA), FT-Infrared Spectrophotometer and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM).
