Analysis of changes of stands parcels number and boundaries in Sutkai forest district of the Sakiai satte forest enterprise during 1979 – 2013 year perriod

A tax parcel is the main unit of statistics qualifying the resources of forest and non-forest land in our republic. This work has looked at the variations of tax parcels’ boundaries and quantities in the Sutkai forestry of the Šakiai forestry enterprise. The study shows that the number of tax parcels has grown to 302, i.e. 35.5% in the past years. Split parcels have been divided due to: inventory mistakes – 45%; ongoing farming economy – 44%; natural disasters – 4%; performed state measurements – 6%. The boundaries of tax parcels have changed by 43% in the probationary area, but 57% of them have remained unchanged. The major reasons for transitions of tax parcels’ boundaries are: farming economy – 40%; adjustments of inventory – 47%; natural phenomena and disasters – 6%; state measurements – 4%; and other reasons – 3%Vytauto Didžiojo universitetasŽemės ūkio akademij
