Relevance of the research.A choral director -conductor -is a very important factor for successful activity of a non-professional choir. Chorus conductor’s most basicknowledge of music reading, and conducting theory is the basis of command. These skills need to be applied professionally. In addition, it is necessary for the conductor to have a good sense of music rhythm and understanding, to understand and analyse thechoir more accurately(Liu, 2006). The economic base determines the superstructure. To do anything, we must have the basic ability to accomplish one thing better without any influence in all aspects.While gradually forming the basic movements of chorus conductors suited to their own style, the requirement is to be concise and easy to understand, so that there will be a concise aesthetic feeling. But sometimes you can also prepare some Sao operations, as the climax part or turning part of the symbolic action is near. This can greatly improve the singing enthusiasm and attention of the chorus members creating a more effective performance (Yang, 2008). As a conductor, you not only need to read music and score, but also have the spirit and perseverance to seethrough, understand and comprehend the works, to dig out the theme of the works, what they really want to express, and what emotions are hidden under the performance, which need your conducting in order to be figured out (Fu, 2007). The large number of choirs makes it difficult for every singer to have a thorough understanding of the choir works. In this case, as the leader of the chorus, the conductor must have a clear grasp of each work of the chorus and use body language to prompt the singer to show it.As a conductor, you should show confidence in your command skills and the singing level of the choir players. This confidence can bring great encouragement to the players, to better raise the choir level. But self-confidence should also be increased on the level of skilled technique. Blind self-confidence will destroy your choir (Aaron, 2013). Any form of performance should show self-confidence, but not because self-confidence suggests not working hard. As a choir conductor, you have to learn to accuratelygrasp and handle the rhythm of the music, such as the beat, the end and release of a melody. Sometimes, the ability of command to connect in a gentle place is trickier. Of course, attention should also be paid to the climax part, especially the determination of some climax points (Sean, 2005). Rhythm sense is a basic skill that a qualified choir conductor must grasp firmly. If the conductor's rhythm fails, the whole choir will make mistakes. Choir conductors should learn to control and develop a set of skilled choir command movements. They should not be too fancy, but instead should focus on simplicity and beauty. Different command actions must be distinguished. Otherwise, similar actions can easily confuse the choir members and cause irreparable damage to the choir when they are performing. Don't neglect the initial stages, they will be hard to correct later (Laurent, 2011). The 8most important thing for a conductor is clarity. Too many small movements will cause the members of the choir to be confused aboutwhich action is an important clue. So, just do the actions that need to be prompted. As a choir conductor, besides having excellent qualities, one should also teach the members of the choir, effectively, in all aspects related to his works and convey effective information to the members of the choir when performing.I chose this theme because I studied choir conducting and hoped that more people would be encouraged to participate in choir activities in my future career. I will look for professional teachers and high school music teachers from many art training institutions as conductors, and their staff from many units and ordinary high school students as choir members for research. Research questions:What are the effective characteristics of choral conductors? What qualities of a manager could a choir conductorhave? How should a choir conductor organize the work of the non-professional choir and seek recognition? The object of the researchis the peculiarities of the choral conductor profession in a non-professional choir.The aim of the researchis to reveal the peculiaritiesof choral conductor’s activity in a non-professional choir.The objectives of the research:1.To highlight and theoretically prove the importance of choir conductor’s activity in anon-professional choir.2.To evaluate the peculiarities of the conductor’s effective characteristics. 3.To create a measurement approach for assessing choral conductor ability. 4.To find out the students’ attitudes about choral conductor’s activity in a non-professional choir. The methods of the research:the analysis of academic literature, questionnaire, interviews, quantitative and qualitative data analysis.The structure of the master‘s thesis:summary in Lithuanian, introduction, a glossary of concepts,theoretical and empirical parts, conclusions, references (72) and appendixes. Work volume with attachments 60pages. The work is illustrated by3figures and11tables.Choro dirigentas yra viso choro lyderis, svarbi figūra chore ir pagrindinis veiksnys, lemiantis sėkmingą muzikinio kolektyvo veiklą. Choro dirigentas turi turėti gebėjimus organizuoti chorą, pasirinkti narius ir repertuarą, mokyti dainuoti, repetuoti ir vadovauti chorui dalyvaujant įvairiose renginiuose. Yra tam tikri skirtumai tarp mėgėjų choro ir profesionalaus choro. Mėgėjų chore dirigentas turi pradėti nuo muzikos teorijos ir dainavimo mokymo pradmenų. Palyginti su profesionaliais choristais, dirbant su mėgėjais, jiems reikia skirti daugiau kantrybės. Tyrimo klausimai: Kokie yra charakteringi choro dirigento bruožai? Kokiomis vadovo savybėmis turi pasižymėti choro dirigentas? Kaip choro dirigentas turėtų organizuoti mėgėjų choro darbą ir siekti pripažinimo? Tyrimo objektas yra choro dirigento veiklos ypatumai mėgėjų chore. Tyrimo tikslas - atskleisti choro dirigento veiklos ypatumus mėgėjų chore. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Išryškinti ir teoriškai pagrįsti choro dirigento vaidmens mėgėjų chore svarbą. 2. Įvertinti choro dirigento efektyvių bruožų ypatumus; sukurti kriterijus chorinio dirigento gebėjimams įvertinti. 3. Išsiaiškinti studentų požiūrį į choro dirigento veiklą mėgėjų chore. Tyrimo metodai: mokslinės literatūros analizė, anketa raštu, interviu, kiekybinė ir kokybinė duomenų analizė. Tyrimo rezultatai rodo, kad jei mėgėjų choro dirigentas yra muzikas profesionalas, jis dažnai gerai kontroliuoja choro repeticijas ir veiklą. Jei dirigentas yra neprofesionalas, profesionalai turėtų pagelbėti jam, į tai reiktų atsižvelgti ir padėti sugeneruoti gerą rezultatą. Tyrimai rodo, kad mėgėjai choristai labai rimtai žiūri į choro repeticijas ir labai gerbia choro dirigentą. Profesionalūs choro nariai dažniausiai turėtų labiau norėti mokytis, praktikuoti, repetuoti ir visą tai atlikti kuo kruopščiau. Tačiau choro dirigento veiklos ir pažangos laipsnis įvairiose šalyse skiriasi. Todėl reiktų stengtis sutelkti kiekvieno choro nario entuziazmą, kad visi, norintys dalyvauti chore, galėtų pamilti chorą ir dainavimo tradicijas.Švietimo akademij
