The present paper aims to compare two narratives in the aspect of the concept of evil. The following goals have been set in the paper: analyze and compare Milan Kundera’s movie The Unbearable Lightness of Being and his novel The Unbearable Lightness of Being, reveal the depiction and narrative background, interrelated actions, experiences, feelings, psychological state and philosophical disposition of characters. The paper reveals Milan Kundera’s emphasis on the questions of being. By constantly begging the question on the postulates of being, he enters the sphere of worldly virtues and values and tries to express reasoning on his questions and answers as well as their logical sequence in political, social and physical images.
