The investigations were conducted in the 2017 - 2018 academic year in the Laboratory for Agronomy and Zootechnics of Aleksandras Stulginskis University. Potatoes tubers of `Solist`,` Vineta`, `Laura` and `Jelly` varieties were grown in the vegetable farm in Šakiai district. Samples of potato tubers, depending on the different stages of the breed, were taken twice - at the stage of the 11th organogenesis, during the accumulation of spare substances in the tubers, and during the 12th stage of organogenesis - when the tubers reached full maturity.An investigation of two factors has been done: factor A - potato variety, factor B - time of harvesting of tubers.
