The experiment was carried out in period of 2012–2013 at the ASU pomology orchard. The aim of the research was to investigate the growth dynamic of the first year 'Auksis' and 'Florina' apple - plants on rootstocks B.396, B.9, M.26, M.4, MM.106, B.118. During the vegetation period the most intensive growth of the first year plants was observed from the beginning of vegetation, to the middle of July. Growth of apple trees with different pedigree on the same rootstocks vary. Rootstocks had no influence for 'Florina' apple trees growth, except with rootstock MM.106 where apple trees were essential lower and rootstock B.118, where 'Florina' grafts diameter was essential the highest.
