The effect of stiffness and mass defects on eigenvalues of bending vibrations of paper is analyzed in the paper. The histograms of the effect of change of stiffness and mass of finite elements for the first eigenmodes are determined. Experimental procedure based on the method of projection moire was used to determine the eigenmodes of the standing waves of the paper excited with vibrations for the paper with and without defects.
