Two paradigms of development of human beings are contrasted in the article : monadology and social constructivism. Theory of monadology was developed by G. Leibniz and partly by I. Kant. Leibniz described human spirit as unity, as the monada. Monada has no doors and windows and could be developed only by itself. Kant maintained Enlightenment is self-dependent skills to judge. Independent and critical thinking could by based only on development of personal experience in the community, in the world. An opposite theory of tabula rasa was developed by French representatives of Enlightenment and by Jacobins. Later Marxism and social Darwinism promoted theory of developed best.
