The purpose of research is to analyse the herb‘s Miscanthus physical- mechanical features and explore its relevance to produce diesel fuel. The tasks of research are observed during all stages of the herb‘s Miscanthus preparation to produce diesel fuel. Consequently, the tasks of research are to determine material‘s humidity, bulk density, natural crumble and fall angles and were evaluated thinness of chaff. 1. Before preparation of the herb Miscanthus for diesel fuel producing, it needs to be cut down, chopped, dried and milled.
