Straw and green manure incorporation on spring barley productivity

In recent times we can hear an increasing number of different discussions about land cultivation techniques and its impact on soil and fertility. The increased number of soil cultivation researches discovered that the land is not necessary should be cultivated in deeply - it is enough to just be loosened. The study compared six different land cultivation methods and the two factors - without straws (-S) and with straws (+S). The experimental results showed that significant differences detected from the beginning of germination only after 3 starts days in plots withreduced tillage systems without primary tillage (catch cropping for green manure with rotovating, no-tillage), respectively 9.8 and 31.3unt. m-2, compare to deep ploughing (GA). After 10 days seeds germination significantly effective were only in plots with no tillage. Compared with conventional ploughingshallow ploughing, shallow loosening, shallowrotovating before sowing had no effect. Continuous long-term straw application had no significantly impact on the harvestamount compared with the plots without straw.
