Vegetables yeld evaluation in the ecological and intensive farms

Experiments were carried out in 2012 in the ecological and intensive farms of Farmers Vitalija and Algimantas Morkunai located in Pasvalys district. The vegetables hybrid test was carried out in production fields. Hybrids carrots 'Noveno' H, beetroots 'Boro' H, cabbages 'Alfredo' H, were cultivated. /egetables general and marketable yield was less in the ecological farm. The results of analysis goes to show that, in the ecological and intensive farm the chemical composition of vegetables is different. The amount of nitrates was bigger in beatroots and carrots of intensive farm than ecological, but in carrots and cabbages cultured of ecological farm was found bigger amount of potassium and dry substancesVytauto Didžiojo universitetasŽemės ūkio akademij
