Infestation rates and indices of infestation by fleas in small rodents in Lithuania were studied. Six species (Apodemus agrarius, Apodemus flavicollis, Myodes glareolus, Microtus agrestis, Microtus arvalis, Sciurus vulgaris) of 163 speciments rodents were caught in 5 location. A total 259 fleas identified on rodents belong to three families: Ceratophyllidae, Ctenophthalmidae and Hystrichopsyllidae. A few species Ctenophthalmus agyrtes, Megabothris turbidus, M. walkeri and Hystrichopsylla talpae, Ceratophyllus sciurorum was described.
