Habitat influence on the regeneration of target tree species

Research data was collected in Jurbarkas state forest, Pasventys stalls where the number, species, hight and vitality of selfcontained were evaluated. According to the results, the average density of self-contained in chosen areas reaches approx. 8000 units/ha which is more than essential ratio 4000 units/ha needed to regenerate forests. Around 90% of pines regenerate successfully after the year of crossing. When 5-6 years pass since the year of crossing self-contained pines trees regenerate better than birches. In addition to this, during the year of seeding pines regenerate very well.
