The efficience of fungicides in malt barley in the farm of Antonijus Jundo

The aim of this investigation was to identify the impact of fungicides Bamper and Flexity on yield of malt barley. The experiment carried out in Prienai village, Svencioniai region in 2010. During the field trial four observations were made. The extent of powdery mildew was measured using 0-100% scale (0, 0,1, 1, 5, 10, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100). After three weeks when the spraying of fungicides was made during field trial it was found out that the extent of powdery mildew had increased only in the untreated fields. Also it was found out that both fungicides and their mixture slightly reduced the extent of powdery mildew. The real impact of fungicides had been seen when the results of structure of malt barley was disclosed. Fungicides comparatively to untreated fields had increased the number of productive stems in 12,92-16,42%, the number of grains in one ear in 9,64-11,52%, the mass of 1000 grains in 9,17-9,31%, the large grain yield in 8,86-10,90%. Due to the use of fungicides there was recieved 0,83-0,89 t ha~! (34,29-36,78%) appendage of the yield of malt barley.
