The main objective was to explore the possibilities of cloning plants orchids dividing protocorm. The experiment was conducted in the Laboratory of Biotechnologies of the Institute of Horticulture, Lithuanian Research Center for Agriculture and Forestry. Research was carried out to select and use common spotted orchid (Dactylorhiza fuchsii Druce) and the western marsh-orchid (Dactylorhiza majalis Rchb.) already sprouted seeds protocorms. Common spotted orchid and western-marsh orchid protocorms original shoot explant with embryo survival results were similar.
