Knowledge and innovation interaction analysis

In today’s economy system knowledge and innovation is an integral part of the world, European, national or even enterprisewide. Innovation is largely seen as one of the driving forces in the economic, social sphere, while knowledge is considered to be one of the most important resources. Widely discussed in scientific sources of knowledge on the concept of multiple and relevant knowledge, “knowledge society”, “knowledge organizations”, “knowledge management”, “knowledge economy”, etc. Meanwhile, according to Jakubavičius (2003) innovation is basically an advanced functional novelty focused on the change from old to new.
