Experimentalresearch on long stem corn threshing process

The article deals with the results of experimental research on "Elite" and "G-12" stem com threshing process using a one drum threshing machine. It has been determined that by cutting the com directly with unreadjusted combine harvester, it is necessary to leave a stubble of about 0.6 meter hight. The mass of the harvested materials falling into the threshing machine decreases. Allowable mass (low of the supplied "Elita" corn is 2,5 kg/s-m (stubble height 1=200 mm) and that of "G-12" corn (stubble height 1 = 500 mm) - 7 kg/s-m. The optimum threshing drum rotation frequency is 600 min"1 (correspondingly to 19 ro/s).
