The article offers three episodes from the life of Vilnius musicians in the 18th century. There is little information on musicians in nobility related cases of Vilnius powiat, in fact, only several facts were traced which suggests that the intersection of musicians' and noblemen's interests in Vilnius were rather rare. The first situation was a violent conflict between Kazimieras Gembicius (Kazimierz Gębicz), the Kapellmeister of Vilnius Franciscan Church, and his musicians and Jesuits from Vilnius Academy and the Domus Professa Vilnensis at St. Casimir's Church and their students from musicians' bursa which took place in 1722.
