Культурные факторы социальной отчужденности селъских жителей

The low level of education of rural population is the decisive determinant of their social isolation. The main reason of low education level is the existing poverty in coyntry-side. However the poverty depends on poor education and culture. Many people living in rural areas concerned about their knowledge and professional qualification. Globalization and modern information society raises new problems to Lithuanian country-side. The accessibility to the modern information technologies is more complicated in rural areas than it is in urban areas.Such situation is expecially unfavourable for elder people with lower education. Globalization destroys the rural community and it's traditions, which makes some people feel unsafe and increases their social separation.
