Results of the experiment carried out in order to estimate the impact of different soil tillage application on the organic carbon and nitrogen pools in the soil are presented. The field experiment was conducted at the Lithuanian Institute of Agriculture at 2009 and 2013. The variants of experiment were as followed: conventional tillage (TD) – deep ploughing (23–25 cm) and spring time cultivation (4–5 cm), reduced tillage (SD) – shallow ploughing (14–16 cm) and spring cultivation (4–5 cm), no tillage (TS) – direct drilling and no cultivated.
