Recently many European and Baltic researchers have focused their analyses on the EU energy policy, EU-Russia energy relations, or energy security interests of the Baltic States in general. However, very few have attempted to unite these aspects and to provide a deeper analysis of the Baltic States’ approach towards the most important aspect of the external dimension of the common EU energy policy, viz., EU-Russia energy cooperation. By concentrating on current relevant events and latest tendencies, this article endeavours to (at least partially) fill this gap.
