The influence of tire air pressure on the vehicle wheels braking force

The paper presents the analysis of the air pressure changes in the tires to the wheeled vehicles braking parameters: braking forces and braking uneven. The experiments were conducted changing the air pressure in the tires in the range 325 kPa to 75 kPa recording every 50 kPa. The most signi-ficant braking forces were when the air pressure in the tires was at the lowest rate. The uneven of braking, when the air pressure in the tires are equal in both left and right sides, was about 15%. When the air pressure in the tires was decreased from 325 kPa to 75 kPa wheel braking forces increased 30%. When the air pressure in the tire of low braking wheel was decreased from 325 kPa iki 75 kPa braking uneven decreased from15% to 1%. When the air pressure in the tire of better braking wheel was decreased from 325 kPa iki 75 kPa braking uneven increased from 14% to 28%Vytauto Didžiojo universitetasŽemės ūkio akademij
