TINGKAT KEBERHASILAN TRANSFER EMBRIODI BALAI EMBRIO TERNAK CIPELANG BOGOR, JAWA BARAT ABSTRAK Transfer embrio merupakan salah satu teknologi reproduksi untuk meningkatkanmutu genetik ternak dalam waktu yang singkat. Keberhasilan aplikasi transferembrio di lapangan perlu didukung oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalahperforma reproduksi ternak yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitasternak. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari tingkat keberhasilan transferembrio dengan menggunakan embrio sapi donor FH impor, Simmental, Limousindan Belgian Blue di Balai Embrio Ternak Cipelang. Kegiatan meliputi 3 tahapkegiatan, yaitu produksi embrio secara in vivo, transfer embrio, dan pemeriksaankebuntingan. Data tingkat keberhasilan transfer embrio dilakukan denganpengamatan kebuntingan resipien secara pemerikasan palpasi rektal dan USG.Data tingkat kebuntingan diuji secara deskriptif. Persentase tingkat keberhasilantransfer embrio dari bangsa sapi donor FH impor, Simmental, Limousin danBelgian blue secara berturut adalah sebesar 50,00%; 50,00%; 75,00 % dan25,00%. Simpulan tingkat keberhasilan transfer embrio menggunakan embrio darisapi donor Limousin lebih baik daripada embrio donor sapi FH impor, Simmentaldan Belgian Blue.Kata kunci: Transfer embrio, sapi resipien, tingkat keberhasilan transfer embrio, Balai Embrio Ternak Cipelang. THE SUCCES RATE OF EMBRYO TRANSFERIN THE CIPELANG CATTLE EMBRYO HALL BOGOR, WEST JAVA ABSTRACT Embryo transfer is one of the reproductive technologies to improve the geneticquality of livestock in a short time. The success of the application of embryotransfer in the field needs to be supported by various factors, one of them is thereproductive performance of livestock that can improve the quality and quantityof livestocked. This activity aims to study the success rate of embryo transfer inimported FH donor cow embryos, Simmental, Limousins and Belgian Blue at theCipelang Cattle Embryo Hall. These activity includes three stages, namelyreproduction of the embryo in vivo, embryo transfer, and pregnancy examination.Data on the success rate of embryo transfer was carried out by observingpregnancy of resipien by examining rectal palpation and USG. Pregnancy leveldata was tested descriptively. The percentage rate of success embryo transfers inthe imported, Simmental, Limousine and Belgian Blue of FH donors in a row is50.00%; 50.00%; 75.00% and 25.00%. Conclusions on the success rate of embryotransfer using embryos from cattle Limousine donors are better than imported FHcow donor embryos, Simmental and Belgian Blue.
