The streets are one of the most commonly used spaces of a city and most people would probably say that they know what a street is. However, at a second glance, streets could be quite complex spaces hosting sometimes co-existing and sometimes contradicting uses. To start with, there is both an inherent relation between staying and moving as well as between space and network in the concept of streets.
